Abstract

The article is devoted to the forming of patriotism and similar characteristics when the first-year students study history on the no historical faculties in Tver state university. Such creative tasks as making of students 'family tree and research work on the subject "The history of my family" develop such characteristic as love for students' mother country. The experience of fulfillment such tasks and their great importance for patriotic education is analyzed in this article.
