Abstract

The problems of social stratification and mobility of the middle layers of the provincial Russian town during the revolutionary events of 1917 in Russia. The reasons and directions of the mobility of the middle class city as a whole and its individual groups and strata, examines the impact of these processes of the First World War and the Revolution of 1917.
