Abstract

The purpose of the article is to clarify the specifics of the linguoculturological approach to the analysis of a foreign-language educational text, to consider some features of methodological work with its linguistic and cultural components. The authors emphasize the importance of separating a separate discipline from the general regional studies – linguistic and regional studies, the main task of which is the development of communicative competence through familiarization with a culture. The object of research in the article is the linguoculturological aspect of the study of language units in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language, the subject is the system of work with the linguistic and cultural aspect of the text. The authors of the article highlight the leading principles of linguoculturology, list the main linguistic units that are in the focus of linguoculturology. The article discusses the types of linguistic and cultural gaps, as well as the process of their elimination
