POINT-RATING CONTROL OF CADETS KNOWLEDGE IN THE PROCESS OF MILITARY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The article discusses the issues of the introduction of point-rating control of cadets' knowledge in military vocational education. The issues of implementing point-rating control are considered as one of the ways to improve the quality of training of future officers. Based on the study of scientific literature, the article reveals the practical experience of using pointrating control in Russian military universities, the main task of which is to activate the educational work of cadets and increase motivation to receive high marks in the classroom during the entire training period. Based on the conducted research, the results were obtained, which reveal that the introduction of point-rating control contributes to a more objective assessment of the performance of cadets as a whole, and also takes into account those types of cadet activities that cannot cover classroom hours. At the same time, it was revealed that a promising direction for the development of point-rating control in military institutions is to address issues of information and methodological support, mechanisms for encouraging cadets and popularization of the control system itself as a whole
