Abstract

The article presents a theoretical analysis of psychological studies of different types of intelligence. The models of intelligence, structural components, criteria for studying social, emotional, cultural types of intelligence and their connection with emotion recognition by representatives of different ethnic groups are revealed. The author developed a theoretical model of intellectual foundations for emotion recognition. It includes structural and meaningful components, dynamic and procedural components and functions.The results of the empirical correlation study of three types of intelligence withemotion recognition on the example of face expression among their ethnic group and other ethnophores are presented. The study was conducted on a sample of respondents from Asian countries (China, Mongolia, Korea, Vietnam). Empirical data allowed to verify some aspectsof the theoreticalmodel
