Abstract

Teaching experience is being updated J.O. de La Mettrie. Make provisions on the importance of philosophy in the development of morality as one of the forms of social relations between people and on living together as a source of happiness for a society and a person. The authors consider important La Mettrie’s ideas that a person’s need for vital connections necessitates determination of virtues and vices, the origin of which is rooted in political organization, and that education can eliminate vices by introducing morality into the person’s soul. The paper presents the theory of social virtues developed by La Mettrie, and describes his methods of teaching and educating children
