Abstract

This article opens a series of publications devoted to the problem of choosing of theoretically and empirically supported effective methods of teaching written translation of bachelors of linguistics. The article identifies the research problem, presents the essential characteristics, practical significance and structure of the methods of organizing written translation classes. The fundamental didactic principles of the discussed methods are described, and the significance of using these methods to form the professional competencies of bachelors of linguistics is logically shown
