Abstract

The article considers the importance of extracurricular activities for the cultural life of a higher educational institution. The legislative and scientific experience of the formulation of the definition of the concept of «extracurricular activities» in relation to the university is summarized. The authors regularize the possibilities of extracurricular activities as a pedagogical resource for forming the students’ aesthetic culture and identify its leading directions
