Abstract

This article presents the results of empirical study of the subjective ideas of the IT-specialists' professional success. The study identified the main components of professional success, highlighted by IT-specialists. Differences were established on the topics of professional success in groups with certain IT-professions (software developer, tester, data scientist) and groups on different levels of professionalism (junior, middle, senior, lead). The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the identified components of professional success can be used as criteria for assessing the professional success of IT-specialists
