Abstract

Describes the uniqueness of the humanistic phenomenon of the Russian noble education of the late XVIII - the first third of the XIX century; the possibilities of using this experience in the modern educational process are considered, possible reasons for the loss of interest in this phenomenon in modern society are indicated; difficulties are identified that arise when referring to the experience of elite noble education, historical parallels are drawn with the modern stage of development of education
