Abstract

On a sample of residents of the Moscow region of retirement age up to 75 years, a survey was conducted using the author's questionnaire to study the leisure activity of the elderly, the Russian version of the TIPI questionnaire, the Stanford questionnaire of time perspective F. Zimbardo. 5 empirical types of leisure activities of older people were identified, which can be divided into 2 groups according to the criterion of activity-passivity in preferred forms of leisure, as well as the emotional significance of the leisure sphere in their lives. The data obtained are applicable in the field of social services for the organization of leisure activities for the elderly
