Abstract

There is a necessity of analyzing the development of the educational system of the Republic of India (RI). For this purpose, we ought to look at it from the moment of Independence to the current context. For this purpose, we need to observe the features of the modern stage, wherein the formation of the state has been determined. Furthermore; we ought to also look into the role of education system as a fundamental element in strengthening the position of the RI in the International arena. The government has been involved and committed towards solving the educational difficulties of its citizens. It is therefore utmost necessary to look at from the perspective of the Law of the land. Where comparisons are needed, the educational policy needs to be compared at the International level. It is also imperative to analyze the historical and legal basis of modern state policy in the field of education. The benefits are more if one is looking at implementing in a democratic system, where the directive is with the formation of a single national educational body.
