Abstract

Studies the pedagogical heritage of F. Froebel. The author analyzes the goals, the content, means and methods of education, the relationship of the participants of the educational process from the position of the concept of F. Froebel. The principles of developing, activity-oriented, individual and family education depicted in his theory are revealed. The importance of the game theory for the modern system of preschool education and the use of the game method in school is noted. The continuity of pedagogical ideas of F. Froebel in the Froebel movement is shown
