Abstract

The article gives an analysis of foreign educational and psychological literature, devoted to the problem of teaching creativity. The research is aimed at singling out the main stages of the development of the idea of teaching creativity through using special creative teaching methods. British educational documents are analysed and the reasons for employing the process of teaching creativity within school education are discussed
