SYNERGETIC FOUNDATIONS OF MUSICAL SERMONS AS A THEOLOGICAL PRACTICE

This article describes synergetic foundations of musical sermons as a variety of theological discourse practices. It is shown that the notion of musical sermon as an authoritative word, along with other speech genres of mass media communication, is a complex communicative act which functional purpose can be attributed to the implementation of informative and expressive functions. Musical preaching as theological practice has a spirituallyeducational function that overshadows its affective function.
