Abstract

The initiation ceremony development is deducted as the meanings of personality socialization using the human determination the defined social status and roles during all his life. The meaningful and formal side of initiation ceremony in the modern conditions is analyzed. The authors arrive at the conclusion that nowadays initiation ceremonies come to be more formalistic, the informative part of rituals loses its significance, which leads to people imitating their social roles and to the decrease of effectiveness of personality socialization
