Abstract

This research intended for study of intensional structure of ordinary discourse. The preliminary research was conducted on the material of conversations recorded in one of student’s classrooms. It was found intensional groups reflecting subject’s orientation on interlocutor and environment dominated in intensional structure of ordinary discourse. Responding subject’s intensions by interlocutor may be directly and delayed. Also it was found there were cases of intension’s disregarding. Speaker attempts to concretize and clear up interlocutor’s topical intentions if he understands them incorrect or incomplete. It was revealed that intensional coordination of interlocutors’ statement decreased with increase of number of conversation’s participants
