The article looks at issues of the development and implementation of joint programmes at Russian universities placed in a broader context of the Bologna process and development of the European Higher Education Area. The issues comprise the essence and types of joint programmes, their structure and content, development cycles, as well as problems encountered by the universities both in Russia and in Europe in this area. The article ends with a set of proposals aimed at fostering joint curricula implementation.Published
