Abstract

The features of Russian regional universities work, directions of Bolongna process influence on their activity, specificity of lectures and students contingent are investigated from academic mobility positions. The influence of the academic mobility is analyzed on competitiveness of separate specialties and regional universities as a whole; their innovative potential; fund-raising and publishing activity of lecturers and students; graduates’ employability. The motivation, subjective and objective constraints, relating to academic mobility, are considered from viewpoint of university administration, the dean's offices, departments, post-graduate students, employees, students. Some questions of decisions making information support for academic mobility management on basis of computer databases are considered.
