Abstract

The paper deals with one of the goals of higher education nowadays, namely with training competent specialists in the context of global education development. The aim of the study is to establish the role of Tempus projects in forming foreign language communicative competence. Studies carried out at Vladimir State University prove participation in the international Tempus project «Netwater» to enhance internal motivation to master foreign language communication skills on the basis of personality qualities. The current project provides authentic environment inspiring successful professional communication of students and teachers with foreign partners, contributing to their professional self-identification, career development and arriving at acme.
