Abstract

The paper is devoted to the problem of creating training texts for textbooks on teaching Russian as a foreign language (initial stage of teaching). It is proposed to create these texts on the basis of jokes. The criteria of choosing jokes as well as advantages of their use as a basis for training texts are considered. Jokes allow one to create training texts, which meet the requirements of the teaching methodology.
