Abstract

The article deals with the possibilities of portfolio as a modern measuring instrument of learning achievements of students of a higher educational institution. The analysis of structure and functions of portfolio, its classifications are also under consideration. The model of a student's language portfolio is worked out, the results of its approbation within the learning process according to corresponding psychological-pedagogical and organizational-methodical supply are described.
