Abstract

The research that is aimed at the study of psychological factors of pregnancy progress and delivery takes on special significance in view of complicated demographical situation in Russia. One of the most important research aspects is the motive of conception and pregnancy maintenance. Constructive conception motive reflects subjective readiness to maternity. The research of motives of conception and pregnancy maintenance in the mothers who bring up disabled children shows an established predominance of destructive conception motives.
