Abstract

In the article is considered the evolution of the idea of the integration of approaches to teaching foreign languages in the West European didactics in the two half of twentieth century. The author analyses the sins or the word integration, describes lapidary one of the significant methods of the integrative group - the mediation method of the Germany scientist D.Schulz and G.Griesbach, and find out general didactics principles lying on the ground of the integration of the approaches in diverse periods.
