Abstract

Nikanor Nikolaevich Alyanchikov, a merchant's son from Kasimov, a graduate of the Imperial Moscow Technical School, an engineer and director at weaving factories, a reformer of the Russian language, a political and public Orthodox figure, an emigrant – and this is all one person who has lived a long life in Russia, Estonia and Australia. The article deals with the multifaceted activities of N.N. Alyanchikov in pre-revolutionary Russia and emigration, where he remained a Russian patriot.
