Abstract

The article deals with the methods and the outcome of the research of V.I. Kolosov, a historian from Tver’. The main goal of a scholar working on a biographical study is revealing and classification of the historiographical sources, which is made through the analysis of a historian's professional and public activity. The present research reveals more than 100 works authored by V.I. Kolosov. Also, the style of his work is a socially oriented types.
