Abstract

The paper presents material from the chronicle and act, that reveal the role of Tver princesses in the intra-family relationships of the Tver princely house, as well as their participation in the administrative, economic and political life of the Principality. It is shown that the princesses were engaged not only in the birth and upbringing of children, but also owned territories, were guarantors of the execution of the will of the spouse (according to his will).
