Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of the year of marriage of Kyiv Prince Rurik Rostislavich and Turov Princess Anna Yurievna, which is debatable in historiography, as it is not reflected by sources. Marriage seems to be important for the Dating of the subsequent events of the Kievan Rus period and dates of birth and marriage of their daughter Predslava, son-in-law Roman Mstislavich and granddaughter of Theodo-ra. Based on scattered Chronicles and comparative analysis of the data the author refers marriage to the period of about 1163, which is the starting point of all subsequent marriages and births of his daughter Predslava and granddaughter Pheodora.
