Abstract

The information published in 2018 in the 56-th volume of the annual on-going edition of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts «Annali of the Institute for the Historical Sciences in Dubrovnik» (Anali zavoda za povijesne znanosti Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti u Dubrov-niku) are being analyzed in this article. This volume in two books (812 pp.) is the last one published under the edition of the academician Nenad Vecarich (1955–2018). During many years Nenad Vecarich was the di-rector of the Institute for the Historical Sciences in Dubrovnik that be-came the largest and the most impotent scientific centre in the Balkans. On the initiatives of N. Vecarich the cathedral of the Universal History of the Tver State University got the books from Croatia. 19 articles on the historical demography and the social and political history of the Croatian town Dubrovnik throughout several centuries are published in the 56-th volume of «Annali». The articles reflecting the similar typological prob-lems in the Russian Historical Science are being analyzed in this report.
