Abstract

This article is devoted to analysis of the relevant issues of Museum af-fairs in the Tver Province in the 1920s. The study based on archival ma-terials of the conference of museum workers, not previously introduced into scientific circulation. The author analyzes financial, organizational and personnel issues of provincial museums. Much attention is given to methodological problems of exhibiting museum values. The conclusion contains the evaluation of prevailing trends and their influence on for-mation of the local museum network.
