Abstract

The article is devoted to the process of formation of the Soviet power in the Tula province, the analysis of internal policy and methods of struggle for power of the Tula socialists (Bolsheviks, Mensheviks, SRS) on the basis of office sources, the party press by means of historical-descriptive, historical-genetic and historical-system methods. The influ-ence of economic and political factors on the formation of the Soviet system in the region is shown. The author came to the conclusion that against the background of socio-economic crisis in the spring of 1918 at the Tula of the Mensheviks and SRS had the opportunity to increase its influence in the local authority, but their chosen tactics (boycott, criticism in the press) and more rigid Bolshevik (most political forums due to the sympathizers, the use of military force, ideological pressure on political opponents) has led to the consolidation of Soviet power in written in the center version.
