Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the directions in American historiography and highlights the main problem areas affected by foreign authors in the context of the phenomenon of women's everyday. Feminist anthropolo-gists seek to identify the different meanings and aspects of women's daily as continuous practices and perceptions, forms of bodily, emotional, cul-tural and other female experience, inscribed in the framework of a particular historical place and time. The reference to this problem allows us to talk about the status of women's experience as a special source of knowledge, as well as the place of gender methodology in history.
