A. V. Solovyyov (1890-1971), the graduate of the Warsaw university, the famous expert in history of the Slavic right, having appeared in emigra-tion, continued and developed the full-fledged scientific direction in the Russian Slavic philology which arose at the beginning of the 19th century. In libraries and archives of royal Yugoslavia, on Athos a number of important archival documents on stories of the right of medieval Serbia and the Dubrovnitsky republic allowed it to publish and analyse a possibility of work. A. V. Solovyyov's publications became available in the USSR since the end of the 1940th and were actively studied by the Russian historians, including at universities of Tver and Voronezh. Several debatable articles and monographs on stories of the right and the power in the Dubrovnitsky republic based including on publications of the legislative documents which are carried out by A.
