Abstract

In the article on the base of the archive data are being represented the professors and the lecturers on the courses of the World History, who worked in Kalinin Pedagogical Institute and Kalinin (Tver) University since 1917 until 2017. At first only one cathedral of History was opened in the Institute. The professors and docents, who taught the historical disciplines, worked there. The cathedral of the World History was opened in 1937/38. There were two cathedrals — the World History and the History of the USSR — since 1967 until 1977. When the University was founded, four cathedrals were organized at the Faculty of History. The researches on the names of all the lecturers of the Faculty of History during the whole century and their biographies were fulfilled, that is especially impotent for the analyzes of the founding and the development of the education in the sphere of History in Tver.
