Abstract

The article summarizes the results of archaeological research conducted in different parts of the Trekhcvyatskaya street in Tver in the late XX – early XXI centuries. Based on the analysis of published materials and un-published reports on archaeological excavations, the author identifies the stages of development of the studied territory: as arable land it was included in the city line in the XIVth–XVth centuries, in the XVth–XVIth centuries. here there are residential complexes-estates, in the XVII - first half of the XVIII centuries. the southern part continued to be used for plowing, economic and residential buildings were located to the north of the alleged outcropping moat, the orientation of which does not coincide with the modern lines of building the street. Fixed in the excavations numerous foundation, clandestine, economic and pillar pits of the late XVIII–XIX centuries, are associated with the regular construction of this territory.
