Abstract

N.V. Efremenkov (1820 – 1993), the graduate of the Moscow university, the doctor of history, the professor, The Honoured Scientist of RSFSR, whose scientific and pedagogical work was connected with two Russian universities: Uralskiy snd Kalininskiy (Tverskoy). The article studies the work of N.V. Efremenkov in Kalininskiy (Tverskoy) university as the head of the department of historiography and original sources, the editor-in-chief of collected scientific works, the instructor of such subjects as historiography and original sources, the author of scientific articles , training appliances, methodical materials, in which he gave consideration to the organization of self-dependent work of the students, the science organizer.
