Abstract

The article discusses the activities of the Tver scientific archival Commis-sion in the field of cultural heritage preservation, namely the preservation of documentary sources on the history of the Tver Karelians. The focus is on the characterization of a collection of documents from the State archive of the Tver region, fund No. 103, dedicated to various aspects of the history of the Karelian. The author concludes that, in General, members of the archival Commission was saved an insignificant number of documents concerning the history of Karelian settlers, but they are of special value, require careful study and introduction into the scientific circulation.
