Abstract

The review analyses the collective study of Russian scientists devoted to the problems of the development the social thought of Slavic peoples throughout the late Middle Ages, which was published by the Institute of Slavonic studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, edited by B.N. Flory in 2014. The review is particularly focused on the interpretation of Russian medieval texts concerning twersky subjects, especially the image of the Tver Prince Mikhail Yaroslavich.
