Abstract

The paper considered carefully the Polish question as common in the historical literature of the concept. The author draws attention to the difference of interpretation of the concept "Polish question", and in this context clarifies found in the historical literature of his interpretations, and determines the time it arrives in Russia. In terms of the content of the Polish question is a close intertwining of socio-political and ethno-cultural problems, painful refracted in Russian-Polish relations, burdened with the legacy of historical memory. The author proposes to consider the Polish question in the ideological plane, where, with an eye on the experience of mutual communication for centuries, a unique way refracted public opinion and general-governmental sentiment towards the Poles. This understanding allows us to study the question of the Polish Polish question in a wider chronological range, including in it the XVII century.
