All persons was revealed, defined the duration of their stay on the posts, reconstructed socio-professional features of leading newspapers. As a result the study established that the corps of editors evolved haphazardly and was changing rapidly. The main reason of abundant mobility was the close ties of journalism with the policy. At the same time the core group – A. V. Adrianov, V. A. Anisimov, I. V. Galeckij, V. A. Zhardeckij, A. I. Ivanov, D. I. Rozenberg, P. I. Fedorov, S. M. Fel'dman, F. F. Filimonov – consisted of highly educated, experienced political figures, determining the ideological and informational processes in the region.
