Abstract

The report discusses the materials excavation of the burial mounds Sel’co / Avdeevo located in the Upper Western Dvina basin, in the Tver’ region. The structure of the funerary equipment are analized. The place of the burial materials in a circle of antiquities of Upper Volga and Upper Western Dvina basin in XI–XIII centuries is determined. The burials are dated the XII century based on the burial inventorys. The set of the ornaments from the burial Sel’co / Avdeevo has analogies in antiquities of Radimichi and Vyatichi.
