Abstract

The article compares the description of Tver 1625/26 and Torzhok 1624/25. Author establishes the fact that the fragment of the «Uspenskii konets» was in 1681 a copy of the description of Tver, Torzhok description . In this regard, A. V Artsikhovsky opinion about the possible existence in the medieval Tver of ends of urban, all should be considered erroneous. Retrospective two potential sources considered different, and this is due to the fact that the description of Tver 1625/26 was preceded by a big fire in the city in 1616, while in the description of Torzhok 1624/25, largely reflects the state of the city before the events of the Time of Troubles 1609.
