Abstract

In article are analyzed notes about Russia of S. Gerbershtejn, J. Piotrovsky, J. Strejs and J. Rejtenfels. The author attempt to find out for each of them becomes, they used what standard at the description of Russian city. Terminology, spatial and time steps of perception is for this purpose investigated by the foreigner of Russian city. The past of Russian city connected with the period of political independence, is regarded by Europeans as blossoming time, and joining to Moscow as the beginning of deep crisis.
