Abstract

The article is devoted to the League of Militant Godless. This issue is considered in connection with Soviet antireligious policy in whole. The League is regarded as a means toward aim to create atheist society. But efficiency of this organization was poor. Author arrives at the conclusion that the League’s activity was even an obstacle to secularization.
