Abstract

There is considered in the paper the standard of the humanitarian students training by the example of the academic advancement. The problem is studied on basis of the unpublished archival sources and those put in scientific circulation. There is given an a appraisal of rather poor progress in the students training on the whole. This is conditioned on both standard school training and peculiarity of the secondary education organization along with its correlation to the higher education. The question raised are considered in connection with the sociopolitical situation of the stated period. This approach permits not only accentuate imperfection of the humanitarian student training organization but also to emphasize a number of positive moments.
