Abstract

In the article the features of organization and life of Orthodox parishes in the Ekatherinoslav government were analyzed. Its self-contradictions and complications are definited. A specific symbiosis of Russian («official» and «popular») and Ukrainian Orthodoxy in the region is also traced.
