Abstract

Author argues that famous collection of article «Vekhi» represented faulse political portrait of the Russian students. It was connected with great emotional shock from the non-positive aftermath of the Russian revolution 1905–1907, imprinted consciousness of well known liberal publicist A.S. Izgoev, and his non-correct interpretation of proper sociological data. The article shows that Russian students was more complex in their sociocultural appearance and po-litical cast of temper
