Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the methods of propaganda applied in the Soviet Union in late 1930s. Kalinin region is taken as the example. The author reveals the aims and means of propaganda, its main ideas inculcated upon public consciousness on the eve of the Great Patriotic War
