In the article, several problems concerning history of Armenian Apostolic Church in the Russian Empire (1892–1912) are observed, such as the relationship between the Catholicoi and the Russian government, the situation with the law about Armenian religious schools from June 2nd, 1897, the influence of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutiun) political party on the religious policy in Armenia
