Abstract

The article describes the history of «Harvest of the Spirit», the hagiographic collection written by E. Skobtsova, now canonized martyr Mary (Paris). «Harvest of the Spirit» was published in the period of increased interest of Russian writers abroad for the hagiographical genre. In 1920-s, in the YMKA-PRESS publishing house was made a kind of hagiographical project for writing new lives of saints of having for the youth from Orthodox Russian Student Christian Movement to study Orthodoxy
